Ondo APC: Hausa Community Unveils New Executive, Pledges Continued Support

 In a move aimed at strengthening grassroots political engagement, the Hausa & Arewa Community under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has officially inaugurated a new executive, reaffirming its long-standing loyalty to the party and commitment to unity.


The Hausa & Arewa Community under the APC in Ondo State on the 1st of April, 2026 has inaugurated a new set of executive members, marking a significant step in consolidating its political presence within the state.

The ceremony, held at the Ondo State APC Party Secretariat, was presided over by the State Party Chairman, Hon. Babatunde Kolawole, and attended by party stakeholders and community members.

Speaking at the event, Kolawole praised the Hausa community for its unwavering loyalty and consistent support for the APC, noting that their commitment dates back to the administration of the late former President, Muhammadu Buhari.

He urged the community to maintain its support for the party and the current administration, stressing that unity and cooperation remain critical to the continued development of the state.

The newly inaugurated executive is led by Hon. Goniya Garba (Former S.A Central) as Chairman, alongside Ahmed Ismaila as Vice Chairman and Ismaila Garba as State Secretary. Other key officials include Engr. I. Gambo (Assistant State Secretary), Hon. Isah Umar (Public Relations Officer), and Ibrahim Inuwa Ore (Treasurer).

Also among the executive members is Jubril Danna, who was appointed as Media Officer, alongside other leaders overseeing youth affairs, women’s leadership, welfare, finance, and organizational roles.

The leadership structure further includes a Board of Trustees (BOT) chaired by Alh. Babangida Sadeeq, as well as zonal representatives across the North, Central, and South senatorial districts to ensure inclusive representation.



The Governor of the state, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, was also recognized as the Grand Patron of the community, highlighting the strong relationship between the Hausa & Arewa Community and the APC-led government.

The inauguration signals the beginning of a new leadership phase, with expectations that the executive will promote unity, strengthen grassroots mobilization, and enhance the community’s political influence in Ondo State.
