Residents try to put off the fire A late-night fire outbreak on Monday ravaged a residential lodge known as Nameless Lodge , located behind Gwallameji Primary School in the Gwallameji area of Bauchi. While no lives were lost, several properties and personal belongings were completely destroyed before emergency responders arrived. Eyewitnesses reported that the fire started at about 6:45 p.m., sending residents of the lodge and neighboring buildings into a panic as thick smoke and flames engulfed the compound.
